As a Solution Area Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping businesses achieve their digital transformation goals by matching customer challenges with Microsoft solutions. You will work closely with our account teams to identify and drive opportunities in targeted workloads, working with Customer Business Decision Makers to understand their unique business needs.
The Solution Area Specialist role focuses on working with Microsoft's account teams to identify and drive opportunities in targeted workloads. As the Solution Area Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Driving Acquisition & Grow Usage by transitioning on-premises customers to Microsoft 365, enabling remote work securely and growing usage of Teams & Identity
- Establishing customer health across Microsoft 365 and driving Seats and expand our M365 with existing customers
- Orchestrating an extensive virtual team consisting of technical and partner roles across an extensive portfolio of products
- Understanding competitor solutions and products and driving compete messaging to increase our Modern Work penetration
- Effectively turning prospects and qualified leads into opportunities and revenue pipeline by qualifying opportunities and selling with Microsoft partners
- Continuously nurturing and expanding sales, business, technology, and competitive readiness
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 7+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND 6+ years of technology-related experience
