Job Summary

At Edwards Lifesciences, we are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and running various types of machinery in our manufacturing process, following established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and production schedules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, load materials, and run a variety of manufacturing equipment to produce device components and/or sterilize finished products, ensuring appropriate settings and parameters to achieve product design and quality specifications.
  • Perform inspections of machinery and output to ensure processes are being executed in conformance with production specifications and maintain a stable and effective process.
  • Review, follow, and perform job functions in compliance with established work instructions and adherence with SOPs, which may include recording traceable information on device history records and/or entering information into JDE.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to Edwards' Environmental Health and Safety and Quality guidelines.
  • Collaborate with peers in manufacturing and work with minimum supervision by following detailed established work instructions.

Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent in strongly preferred; some previous experience in using similar machinery is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills with working knowledge of computer systems or software, which typically may include JDE, TRAX, and Forwarder, preferred.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and comprehend policies and procedures (English Speaking, preferred).
  • Knowledge of and adherence to Edwards' Environmental Health and Safety and Quality guidelines as they relate to warehouse operations and clean room medical device manufacturing.
