Betterwho is a growing organization seeking a Senior Bookkeeper to join our team. As an experienced accounting professional, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and accounts payable/receivable
  • Closing the books each month, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial statements
  • Providing financial reports and documents to external auditors
  • Evaluating financial transactions to ensure compliance with accounting standards

Requirements for this role include:

  • A bachelor's degree in finance or a related field
  • Certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or similar
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting, with a strong background in QuickBooks and other accounting software
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
