Job Description:

The Tax Manager will be responsible for providing full leadership and supervisory responsibility, ensuring motivation and development of team through professional leadership to include duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary and terminations as well as direction of daily tasks and responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the overall management of the tax liabilities, of Citi, both directly and in connection with transactions with clients, including the related compliance, financial reporting, planning and controversy processes.

- Contributes to the planning, accounting, filing and the reporting of tax liability of the company.

- Assists in determining and compiling information required to satisfy income tax filing and related requirements at all levels of jurisdiction.

- May participate in managing payments to tax authorities in compliance with specific tax regulations.

- Manages professional team(s) and department(s).

- Integrates expertise and industry expertise within a defined area.

- Advises on standards around which others will operate.

- Requires in-depth knowledge of how areas harmoniously integrate within the sub-function.

- Coordinates and contributes to the goals of the entire function.

- Uses communication and diplomacy skills to guide and influence others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasionally external customers.

Key Qualifications:

- 5-8+ years of experience

- Graduate degree in finance, law, public accounting, or directly related field and/or Tax specialization degree.

- Previous Tax Compliance experience related to one or some of the following LATAM countries: Costa Rica, Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador, Panamá, Dominican Republic, Perú and Ecuador.

- Preferable to have work experience in US multinationals.

- Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.

- Advanced English skills.
