**Job Summary**
The position will support the federal and state income and franchise tax compliance preparation process during the months of March through August.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Prepare federal & state tax returns and workpapers for US Companies
- Assist with the rollforward and preparation of Tax Depreciation calculations for both federal and non-conforming states
- Assist with the review of US state tax apportionment requests
- Assist with compiling the New York sales by City reports necessary for New York state & city income tax return filings
- Requires extensive use of Microsoft Excel, along with Thomson Reuters' OneSource Income Tax software the person to fill this role will need to have the willingness to learn new Excel processes, the income, tax software, and demonstrate the ability to manage their work load independently of direct supervision.
**Education and/or Experience**:

- This position requires a Licenciatura (or Master's) degree in Accounting or Finance
- Authorized Public Accountant preferred
- 3 to 7 years of experience preparing and/or reviewing federal and state tax returns for large multi-state companies.
- US Federal & State tax compliance experience for manufacturing entities.
- Mid-Size to Large Public Accounting experience, or large industry experience preferred
- Visa and Passport up to date.

**Qualifications**
- Advanced Excel Skills with demonstrated ability to effectively manage data volume
- Proficiency with tax return preparation software (preferred)
- Experience with Thomson Reuters OneSource Applications (preferred).
- Ability & willingness to learn new software tools
- Ability to manage workload without direct supervision as position will be remote
