In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our file transfer systems. This includes monitoring system resources and communicating with the Operations Center to effectively maximize throughput. You will also perform monitoring and troubleshooting of most File Transfers, regardless of platform or method or technology utilized.

You will consult with internal and external customers on File Transfer strategies, methods and testing to configure and troubleshoot file transfers. Additionally, you will manage the configuration of secure file transfer definitions in Axway Secure Transport to securely deliver files to intended destination.

Your responsibilities will also include setting up connections and protocols with clients for the client side as well as for the BU side for data transfer. You will ensure production deadlines are met to satisfy customer requests and perform any necessary balancing to ensure accuracy of processing via balancing software.

Furthermore, you will perform a variety of customer support administrative tasks and provide business units with 24X7 production problem resolution support. You will communicate with users to enforce adherence to processes and standards and assist in the testing and implementation of operational production processes and procedures including file transfer.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Monitor system resources and communicate with the Operations Center to effectively maximize throughput.
  • Perform monitoring and troubleshooting of most File Transfers, regardless of platform or method or technology utilized.
  • Consult with internal and external customers on File Transfer strategies, methods and testing to configure and troubleshoot file transfers.

**Requirements:**

  • 5 - 7 years related computer and technical analysis experience require
  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or M.I.S.; or equivalent experience preferred
  • Good knowledge of OS/JCL, TSO/ISPF, IBM Mainframe Utilities
  • Strong knowledge of most File Transfer concepts and tools (SFTP, HTTPS, SFPS, STS, FTP, Connect Direct, PDM, Cloud etc..)
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with most File Transfer related issues.
