Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps Software Developer

Come and work with the Design Services Engineering Team in Global Customer Success at Intel, collaborating with the Data Center and Artificial Intelligence Group (DCAI) as an Infrastructure and DevOps Engineer.

You will be part of a team building Scalable Fleet Solutions for server customers, enabling on-time high-quality launches of Intel server programs, and in-Fleet product experience. Key responsibilities include quick learning, results-oriented work in a dynamic environment, and participation in various projects for product development or research.

The focus is on supporting Software Engineers building an Analytic Backend Solution, deploying and maintaining hybrid on-prem and cloud infrastructure designs, and creating an Analytics platform. Additionally, you will prioritize customer needs by ensuring Cloud Infrastructure availability to solve in-field and at-scale challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Design Services Engineering Team to build Scalable Fleet Solutions
  • Support Software Engineers in building an Analytic Backend Solution
  • Deploy and maintain hybrid on-prem and cloud infrastructure designs
  • Create an Analytics platform
  • Prioritize customer needs and ensure Cloud Infrastructure availability

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of collective experience in DevOps and IT-related areas, including cloud platforms, Kubernetes, and Linux-based systems
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, multi-cluster deployment, workflows, Cloud/Distributed Storage, and enterprise systems administration
  • Experience in building, collaborating, and deploying on-prem and cloud infrastructure across multiple technologies and data migration
  • Extensive knowledge of Linux-based systems, including hardware, software, networking, and storage

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of MinIO, Trino, Dask, Rancher, and other technologies
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Ability to assess urgency of issues and facilitate follow-up and resolution

Working Model:

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model, allowing employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances, the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
