About the Role

The Business Planning Lead is a senior-level position responsible for overseeing the overall administrative activities of Citi's KYC Ops and RSU business. This role involves coordinating and managing various tasks, such as tracking business financials, employee headcount, and other administrative needs as necessary.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing external audits and ensuring regulatory compliance;
  • Coordinating business continuity activities and addressing any issues that may arise;
  • Leading ad hoc projects as requested by senior management.

Key Responsibilities

This role requires strong leadership skills to lead financial conversations with business and finance partners. Key deliverables include:

  • Completing financial reports, including monthly forecasts and annual budgeting processes;
  • Tracking investments and employee headcount evolution;
  • Providing client reporting and addressing ad hoc requests;
  • Driving productivity and cost savings initiatives in partnership with the senior management team;
  • Advancing organization and people strategy goals, including communications strategy, talent strategy, and employee engagement initiatives;
  • Assisting leadership in promoting and executing communications programs;
  • Participating in leadership meetings to assess communications needs and make recommendations for achieving desired impact.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

  • 6-10 years of experience in a financial services role;
  • Strong financial experience, preferably in the banking industry;
  • A demonstrated working knowledge of the financial services industry;
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills in English;
  • Presentation and analytical skills;
  • Organizational and project management skills.

Education

Candidates should hold a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, with a Master's degree being preferred.
