Job Description

To succeed in this role, you will establish and leverage partnerships across multiple business units to configure innovative solutions and promote internal synergy. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing, testing, validating, maintaining, and documenting SAS codes used in data engineering, including complex file manipulation and data transformation and merges to personalize data and print forms.
  • Working on extensive data usage through statistical and quantitative analysis, including the implementation of explanatory and predictive models created by our Clients using SAS products.
  • Creating, modifying, and preparing files, formats, and print layouts based on client specifications.
  • Analyzing and estimating system feasibility, program estimations, and general project status.
  • Communicating appropriate information to managers and end-users.
  • Working with and understanding complex file structures.
  • Coding and executing programs, utilities, and mainframe to PC file transfers, and merging data to personalize and print forms.
  • Communicating with staff regarding current job status, problems, bottlenecks, and potential solutions.
  • Identifying ways to improve methods and systems to increase productivity and quality of products.
  • Coding complex programs in various programming languages on different software/hardware platforms.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are seeking an individual with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 5+ years of experience as a SAS Programmer. You should have good technical/professional knowledge of multiple computer programming languages and job control language. Knowledge of Athena, HIVE, Python, and JSON is a plus.
