Overview

This role will oversee the development and implementation of people strategies across Costa Rica and LATAM, ensuring alignment with business objectives and priorities. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of employment laws and regulations in the region, as well as experience in managing complex employee relations matters.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a multi-year workplace strategy that addresses the unique needs of Service Hub in Costa Rica and LATAM.

  • Foster a collaborative environment between People functions and senior leaders to drive business outcomes.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to develop recruitment strategies that attract top talent from the Costa Rica market.
  • Ensure clear and succinct workforce plans are developed within Costa Rica to leverage talent and maximize business value.
  • Provide thought partnership to leadership on organization design, including leadership development and succession planning.
Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources or related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in Human Resources, with previous experience as a People Business Partner for Costa Rica in a multinational company.
  • Strong consultative skills, including insight gathering, problem-solving, strategy development, influencing, facilitation, and intervention planning.
  • Proven experience working with local institutions and universities to develop strategic plans.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
  • Extensive knowledge of employment laws across LATAM.
  • Specialized knowledge in employee relations, benefits, compensation, immigration, mobility, talent acquisition, and other HR functional topics.
  • Ability to prioritize, work collaboratively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
