This position will fall under Infrastructure & Operations, working closely with the Platform Services organization.

A Day in the Life of an Enterprise Storage Architect

You will configure NAS and SAN systems for seamless integration, design and deploy backup infrastructure, and collaborate with teams to implement best practices and security controls. Additionally, you'll engage in agile development, utilizing data analytics to monitor usage patterns and trends. Your responsibilities will include providing lifecycle support for enterprise storage solutions, serving as the primary escalation point for complex storage-related issues, collaborating with infrastructure teams to architect storage solutions, and conducting capacity planning exercises.

Must-Have Qualifications

To excel in this role, you must have:

  • At least 5 years of experience in designing, configuring, deploying, managing, and supporting Network Attached Storage Systems, Storage Area Networks, and fiber channel storage or Enterprise Backup
Nice-to-Have Qualifications

While not mandatory, having the following qualifications will make you an even stronger candidate:

  • Proficiency in scripting languages to automate storage management tasks
  • Experience with containerized storage solutions, cloud storage services, and software-defined storage solutions
  • Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery principles and technologies
  • Exposure to DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD in storage environments
  • Experience with virtualization technologies and advanced storage features
  • Ability to conduct performance tuning and optimization of storage systems
  • Experience with software-defined networking concepts and their intersection with storage networking
  • Understanding of emerging technologies like NVMe over Fabrics and Storage Class Memory
  • Exposure to container orchestration platforms and their integration with storage solutions
  • Proficiency in network troubleshooting tools and methodologies
Estimated Salary: $140,000 - $180,000 per year

This salary range is based on national averages for similar positions and takes into account factors such as location, industry standards, and required skills.
