Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Luxury Interior Design Director to join our team at Zapotal Golf & Beach Club in Costa Rica.

About the Role

This is a full-time, year-round position responsible for enforcing the overall vision, program, and design direction for our luxury residential and amenity-related building projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with the development team to ensure seamless execution of design concepts.
  • Manage consultant teams for the design and construction of high-end residential and golf club amenity-related building projects.
  • Develop and manage project schedules and budgets.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors to achieve project goals.
  • Mentor and guide junior designers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in architecture or interior design.
  • At least 6+ years of experience in architectural planning and design on luxury level projects.
  • Strong understanding of operations, both front and back of the house, concerning the design, planning, and programming of new construction.
  • Proficiency in software such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, Bluebeam, PowerPoint, and Adobe Creative Suite.
What We Offer

We provide a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k contribution, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
