Job Description

**Position Summary:**
The Transformation and Enablement Manager plays a pivotal role in preparing Thermo Fisher Scientific and its customers/partners for change to new structures, processes, and technology. This involves leading organizational change activities across multiple divisions and functions as part of various projects such as transitions/migrations, new system implementations, process improvements, etc.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Leading Change Plans: The Transformation and Enablement Manager will drive the successful completion of plans by leading internal and external change plans and activities to support program enablement and the business.
  • Communications and Change Management: Responsible for communications and change plans - people, processes, and systems/enabling technology, ensuring all changes are detailed, understood, and mitigated.
  • Change Readiness Assessment: Conducts change readiness assessment activities to collect feedback about readiness and activities required to support project launch dates and resolution activities.
  • Customer Engagement: Enables awareness and understanding of objectives and required details through customer engagement.
  • Change Agent/Champion Networks: Leads Change Agent/Champion networks supporting the change efforts.
  • Training Activities: Supports training activities to ensure readiness for project launch.
  • Reporting: Executes all change activities and reports out during various forums and toll gate reviews, etc.
Requirements

**Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:**

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication experience - verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Change Delivery Experience: Experience in delivering high-quality content that communicates complicated changes.
  • Language Proficiency: Proficiency in the English language (verbal and written), other languages a plus.
  • Leadership Experience: Experience in leading change in a multi-geographical environment.
  • GBS or Shared Services Experience: GBS or shared services experience is an advantage.
  • Organizational Change Passion: Experience, understanding, and a passion for organizational change.
  • Collaboration and Relationship Building: Success in building collaborative partner relationships with a wide range of colleagues.
  • Independence and Time Management: Ability to operate independently, lead through ambiguity and change, and capable of balancing multiple projects and timelines simultaneously.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to handle confidential information in line with confidentiality expectations.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
