We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Planning Analyst to join our team. As a key member of the finance organization, you will provide financial analytics and process optimization support across all segments of Moody's Corporation.
Key Responsibilities- Support the execution of financial planning and analysis processes, projects, and ad-hoc requests by embracing responsibilities such as developing and rolling out process optimization and data consistency, identifying key focus areas for management with moderate level of guidance from direct manager and/or senior team members.
- Work closely with stakeholders and users to ensure requirements and functional designs are translated accurately into standardized processes that meet customer needs.
- Develop and maintain global templates and models, including the use of macros or Business Intelligence tools, and maintain up-to-date records of process documents or flowcharts.
- Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot issues with stakeholders and users to ensure smooth defect resolution.
- Recommend and assist in implementing best practices for improvements/enhancements to current processes, drive standardization of activities, and identify productivity and efficiency opportunities.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including FP&A, Controllership, Procurement, Account Payable, etc., to foster good working relationships.
- Makes decisions appropriate for level of responsibility.
- Raises concerns to the appropriate level of management and keeps management informed of activities.
- Interacts with different teams across Finance in different countries, Corporate Planning, Accounting and Finance organization, Hyperion systems, etc.
- Develops stable working relationships internally (Business and Corporate Planning colleagues, Accounting, Procurement).
