Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled financial analyst to join our Costa Rica-based FP&A team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing operational and analytical support, interacting with product teams to collect information and explanations needed for the USPB consolidated view, and creating reports for consolidation of US Personal Banking views. Additionally, you will participate in core FP&A activities, such as monthly and quarterly estimates, plan development, earnings release materials, and CCAR. You will also work on ad-hoc requests and projects based on business necessity, supporting standardization of activities and streamlining processes. Finally, you will ensure compliance with risk and control policies and requirements, promoting a strong culture of high integrity, ethics, and meritocracy.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Industrial Engineer or a related field
  • At least 2-4 years of experience in finance and accounting
  • Understanding of banking and finance products and markets (preferable but not essential)
  • Basic financial analysis foundation, including forecasting and modeling
  • Keen interest in business and economic environment
  • Bilingual: English and Spanish
  • Intermediate MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • VBA, Power BI, and Tableau knowledge (a plus)
