Cybersecurity Researcher

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and analyze potential security threats and intrusions
• Develop and implement detection and response strategies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improvement
• Analyze large data sets to uncover novel attack techniques and monitor changes in activity group tradecraft
• Work directly with customers to support investigation and response

•Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience in software development lifecycle, large-scale computing, modeling, cyber security, anomaly detection, Security Operations Center (SOC) detection, threat analytics, security incident and event management (SIEM), information technology (IT), and operations incident response
• OR Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years of experience in a technical role in the areas of Security Operations, Threat Intelligence, Cyber Incident Response, or Penetration Testing/Red Team
• 3+ years of experience of working with extremely large data sets, using tools and scripting languages such as: Excel, KQL, Python, Splunk, and PowerBI
• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role
• These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
