Job Description

Overview: Johnson Controls is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support our global projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate hand-offs between design teams, application engineers, and offshore resources to meet customer expectations.
  2. Work with engineering teams to ensure project bill of materials and designs align with customer standards.
  3. Review and submit initial system designs to customers, monitor design approval processes, and create Salesforce accounts for domestic customer projects.
  4. Create initial pricing sheets using standardized global pricing and coordinate with JCI regional/country contacts for local pricing requirements.
  5. Follow up with JCI regional/country contacts to ensure local pricing and equipment additions align with customer standards.
  6. Finalize and submit proposals according to approved customer formats.
  7. Track and report on pre-sales activities and milestones to program managers, Strategic Account Managers, and customers.
  8. Assist local teams on technical issues for international projects, including troubleshooting.
  9. Track receipt of customer approvals and purchase orders for all projects.
  10. Review drawings before release to ensure they meet customer standards (CAD, REVIT, PDF).
  11. Facilitate and manage field calls from customers and Strategic Account Managers regarding orders, proposals, and installs.
  12. Facilitate conference calls and track projects.
  13. Provide continuous job progress updates to the team and customers using internal and external databases.
  14. Resolve post-installation problems and maintain monthly and weekly reporting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial, electrical, electromechanical, or similar engineering fields.
  • 1-2 years of sales/project coordinating experience required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including English and Spanish proficiency.
  • Ability to interact effectively with internal/external customers and peers.
  • Proficiency in MS Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word.

Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
