As a key member of Intel's Foundry Technology Development Design Enablement (DE) organization, you will play a crucial role in supporting the organization's adoption of Jira Software and Jira Service Management as an Application Software Engineer. This position requires a talented individual to handle project administration, project customizations, automation, and end-user support.
This role will involve working closely with partner organizations to ensure DE is following best-known methods and processes for our Jira instances. The primary responsibilities for this role include:
- Project administration for both Jira Software and Jira Service Management instances including project creation, customizations, and automations.
- Integration of Jira Software projects and Jira Service Management projects.
- Integration of Jira instances with other systems such as 1Source GitHub, Manufacturing GitHub, ServiceNow, internal systems, etc.
- Work with Jira migration teams and post-migration DE teams to solve migration issues.
- Provide training sessions for system admins and end-users on how to effectively use and manage the Jira instances.
- Create documentation, including user guides and system administration manuals to support ongoing usage and maintenance of the Jira instances.
- Develop testing and coordinate with TD on designs and architectural changes.
- Connect with stakeholders to define the path forward as well as provide status reports.
- Provide support for DE Jira stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication/listening skills leveraged to effectively communicate with stakeholders. Self-driven, meticulous, highly organized, and strong task/project and process management skills are also essential.
