Software Architect for Cloud Platforms

At Wind River Systems, we are seeking an experienced software architect to lead the development of our cloud-based platform. As a senior software engineer, you will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software that spans across all products.

We are looking for someone with strong experience in cloud scalability, data replication, Angular, Express, NetJS, TypeORM, OpenAPI/Swagger, Postgresql, Redis, NoSQL, IaaC like Terraform and Helm Charts, Jira, Agile, Scrum, CI/CD tools like Jenkins, and BSEE/BSCS or equivalent experience.

Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and improving software, as well as managing and maintaining integrations, and coaching engineers to develop best practices in software development.

You will work with a variety of tools, cloud providers, and products to ensure delivery of high-quality code. If you are passionate about cloud computing and want to make a difference in the industry, we encourage you to apply.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS
  • Experience with NodeJS or other back-end technologies: Java, Python, Go
  • Experience with SQL and DB migrations
  • Experience with Git workflows
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
  • 3-5+ years working in software development
  • Coach engineers to develop best practices in software development
  • May coordinate and define activities of other engineers
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
