">Job Summary
">We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the financial planning and analysis processes across various business units.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- ">
- Support senior members of the team in executing financial planning and analysis processes, projects, and ad-hoc requests as required by the Finance organization.">
- Provide support on analytical, forecasting, month-end and variance analysis reporting and Ad Hoc projects based on business needs.">
- Collaborate in the preparation of monthly reports and variance analysis that will help identify key focus areas for management in a timely manner with moderate level of guidance from direct manager and/or senior team members.">
- Assist with the preparation of various business planning processes and deliverables: forecast, budget, 5-year strategic plan, etc.">
- Assist in inputting forecast and budget projections into Moody's financial reporting system with guidance from direct manager and/or senior team members.">
- Partner with other teams in Business Planning to foster good working relationships with the rest of the organization.">
- Assist in the development of new reporting solutions and identifying key focus areas for management with a moderate level of guidance from direct manager and/or senior team members.">
- Implement best practices for enhancements to current processes and reporting, including driving the standardization of activities across business planning to harness efficiencies.">
- Provide support for the development of financial models, including the use of macros with moderate level of guidance from direct manager and/or senior team members.">
- Assist in conducting and processing large amounts of financial data on a regular basis to create detailed reports based on observations and analysis results.">
- Perform quality reviews to identify financial discrepancies and communicate any risk to the appropriate level.">
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.">
- Develop broad-based knowledge of financial instruments, terminology, and related business practices of the FP&A area.">
- Apply knowledge and basic/intermediate problem-solving techniques to define and resolve problems.">
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.">
- Communicate findings and analysis effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.">
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to drive business growth.">
Requirements
">- ">
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or Statistics or other quantitative field.">
- 1-3 years of relevant financial experience with planning and analysis processes is preferred.">
- Good verbal & written English skills.">
- Detail and data quality oriented and capable of summarizing and communicating findings/analysis.">
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office (preferably: Office 365).">
- Good analytical decision-making, and problem-solving skills.">
- Knowledge of basic accounting concepts.">
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.">
- Desire to learn new skills and cover new challenges.">
- Good attention to detail and able to improve and complete recurring processes avoiding errors.">
- Able to work both independently and as a member of a team by interacting and collaborating with members of other teams across the organization.">
- Ability to develop broad-based knowledge of financial instruments, terminology, and related business practices of the FP&A area.">
- Capacity to provide basic/intermediate support to the business planning processes and deliverables.">
