We are seeking a highly motivated Cloud Optimization Lead to join our Agile Enterprise Solutions team at Pfizer. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for establishing a dedicated function for cloud service optimization, interfacing with various stakeholders, and driving effective cloud solution optimization across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive cloud consumption and optimization strategies to improve spend performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cloud cost optimization, including the Cloud Business Office and Customer Reliability Engineering Lead.
- Provide insights into cloud usage and costs for Digital Creation Center Solutions teams and offer optimization recommendations based on present and future planned cloud usage patterns.
- Design and implement a strategic approach for effective resource utilization management based on Infrastructure-as-Code principles.
- Leverage cloud service provider tools and APIs to optimize cost management, budgets, and recommendations.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of cloud-specific experience with Amazon Web Services, with demonstrated experience in AWS Cost Management and optimization tools.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, security, and compliance.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements.
