Job Overview
We are seeking a Pricing Specialist to join our team at Emerson, where you will play a critical role in driving business growth by developing and maintaining pricing strategies for our Flow Measurement products.
About the Role
In this key position, you will be responsible for performing pricing data entry and maintenance, model setup/configuration, and pricing analysis in corresponding business systems. You will also create/update process documentation for pricing maintenance, as well as create Price book PDFs for various platforms.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that price lists are up-to-date and accurate, and that trade customer modifiers are maintained correctly. Additionally, you will analyze troubleshooting quotes and orders for world areas and global transactions.
Responsibilities
- Pricing Data Entry and Maintenance: Perform pricing data entry and maintenance tasks in corresponding business systems.
- Process Documentation: Create/update process documentation for pricing maintenance.
- Price Book Management: Create Price book PDFs for Roxar, RF, MMI, and USM platforms.
- Price List Updates: Maintain and update price lists in Oracle (annualized and ICO price lists).
- Troubleshooting: Analyze troubleshooting quotes and orders for world areas and global transactions.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless collaboration.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Experience: 2-5 years of sales-related customer service experience preferred.
- Knowledge:
- Oracle Pricing Module in a manufacturing environment desirable.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, including Excel.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Professional XI preferred.
