**Responsibilities**

As a Sterility Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

- Conducting studies to establish sterilization levels and system validation for sterility, antimicrobial and environmental controls

- Evaluating and updating microbial protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards

- Developing and implementing testing approaches to identify basic microbiological testing methodologies

- Collaborating with inter-departmental teams to develop protocols, reports, and methods

- Participating in process improvement projects (e.g., BEST, Lean) and proposing recommendations for approval

- Collecting samples for studies and creating validation plans for laboratory equipment and methods

- Investigating and performing lab corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) testing

- Interpreting data, performing trend analysis, and defining qualification strategies for new or modified devices and/or processes

- Training, coaching, and guiding lower-level employees on new procedures and assessing work techniques

- Other incidental duties assigned by Leadership
