As a Supplier Quality Engineer at Boston Scientific Corporation, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of components sourced from outside suppliers. This position requires a strong understanding of technical specifications, quality control processes, and supplier relationships.
**Key Responsibilities:**
Assess potential new suppliers for technical, quality, and manufacturing capabilities.
Provide technical support for the introduction of components from new suppliers.
Develop and maintain incoming inspection procedures, train inspectors, and source inspection tools and equipment.
Assist in generating component specifications and develop test protocols, monitor testing, and issue qualification test reports.
Provide input to Design Engineering on new component technology and assist in component selection with quality and reliability analysis.
Analyze incoming material defects, disposition, and drive corrective action as necessary.
**Requirements:**
Licenciature degree in Mechanical, Chemistry, Materials, Biomedical, Industrial, or related field.
English language proficiency (80-89%).
At least 5 years of experience, preferably in supplier quality engineering or related fields.
Desired knowledge: problem-solving, networking, and supplier relationship management.
