Data Analysis Specialist Opportunity

At Sysco Costa Rica, we are seeking a skilled Data Analysis Specialist to join our team. As a Data Analysis Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of Tableau dashboards, including business requirements gathering, functional specification write-ups, prototyping, development, QA, UAT, roll-out, and post-launch enhancements implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Take ownership of the End-To-End Dashboard development, including dashboard creation and visualization, trend line and predictive analysis, data source management, dashboard publishing on Tableau server, report authoring, and troubleshooting.
  2. Create repeatable ETL and data models in Alteryx to serve data to Tableau dashboards.
  3. Maintain, support, and optimize SQL queries and Access macros used in Tableau dashboards.
  4. Drive project scoping, capture, and document customer requirements, build proof of concepts for internal stakeholders before engaging in full end-to-end development of the final dashboard solution.
  5. Document end-to-end solutions, including data sources, data models/structures, dashboard UI designs, user manuals, etc.
  6. Design and implement processes and standards to aid in report/dashboard development and support.
  7. Visualize and tell compelling stories with data, preparing and delivering visualizations and internal presentations that translate analytic insights into tangible, actionable solutions for business stakeholders to implement.
  8. Troubleshoot production issues as L1 support, including RCA and communication. Escalate the issue to L2 support and follow through until the issue is resolved.
  9. Own and manage recurring analytic or reporting processes, including manual refresh of existing Tableau dashboards.

Requirements:

  1. At least 4 years of experience working with SQL and APIs in ETL processes.
  2. At least 4 years in Tableau/Power BI development, with Tableau Desktop certification desired.
  3. 3-4 years of experience in Alteryx development, with Core Designer License Certified desired.
  4. Hands-on experience working with OCR, PDF to text, text mining, Intelligent Document Processing, plus other technologies such as Microsoft Power Platform, Salesforce Reports, Dashboards, and CRM.
  5. Ability to work in an agile environment while working with customers to deliver final solutions.
  6. Accountability to work independently and efficiently to meet tight deadlines.
  7. Advanced English (B2+).
