Cybersecurity Strategist

Job Overview

Experian is seeking a seasoned cybersecurity professional to join our team as a Lead Cybersecurity Advisor. This key role will play a pivotal part in shaping our organization's information security landscape.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies to mitigate risks and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Experian's assets.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into business operations and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
3. Provide thought leadership on cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices to inform business decisions and drive innovation.
4. Lead security assessments, risk analysis, and remediation efforts to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
5. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, to ensure effective communication and collaboration on security-related matters.
6. Develop and deliver security awareness programs to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices and promote a culture of security within Experian.
7. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends, and provide guidance on their potential impact on Experian's security posture.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in cybersecurity, risk management, or a related field.
2. 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong background in security risk assessments, compliance, and audit.
3. Proven track record of developing and implementing effective security strategies, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve security goals.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
