Job Description:
As a Senior Information Security Analyst at Western Union, you will be part of a team that supports the development and implementation of our information security program. This includes leading multiple security-related platforms and technologies, interfacing with others within the IT organization, as well as other internal business units and external customers/partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting complex problem-solving while adhering to industry standards
- Generating events from various sources, including endpoints, networks, SIEM systems, threat intelligence platforms, employees, third parties, and more
- Driving measurable improvement in monitoring and response capabilities at scale
- Working with SIEM systems, threat intelligence platforms, security automation and orchestration solutions, IDS/IPS, FIM, DLP, and network and system monitoring tools
- Knowledge of various Internet protocols
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Informatics, or System Engineering
- Intermediate to advanced English Level
- 3+ years of information security monitoring and response or related experience
- Experience driving measurable improvement in monitoring and response capabilities at scale
- Experience working with SIEM systems, threat intelligence platforms, security automation and orchestration solutions, IDS/IPS, FIM, DLP, and other network and system monitoring tools
- Knowledge of various Internet protocols
