The Moody's Cybersecurity team plays a pivotal role in safeguarding the organization by aligning policies and procedures with business and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of Information Security projects and services for our customers by collaborating with key business stakeholders and technology experts.
  • Provide engineering and operational support for cybersecurity data platforms, data access, and data integration for incorporation into SIEM, SOAR, and Observability platforms.
  • Evaluate security concerns with new and emerging technologies to ensure alignment with Moody's risk management framework.
  • Develop, collect, and mature security metrics for IT Risk programs to inform business decisions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2-5 years of diverse work experience with modern UNIX/Linux operating systems, preferably within cloud infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with AWS compute, storage, and networking infrastructure.
  • SIEM platform experience, such as Splunk, Elastic, or QRadar.
  • Familiarity with common scripting/programming languages, including JavaScript, Python, PowerShell, or shell scripting in bash/ksh/csh.
  • Certifications in Splunk Enterprise, Linux+, and/or Security+ are highly valued.
