The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain a Network Solution Test Environment for quality validation of new technologies and solutions. You will design and execute test plans to ensure the correct implementation of solutions, protocols, features, and new hardware platforms.
You will report and communicate problems found on software or hardware and work with software and hardware teams to resolve them. Additionally, you will evaluate design and implementation decisions for networking solutions and functionalities on new feature and/or networking devices.
As a member of the team, you will collaborate and communicate with internal and outsourced development partners regarding software systems design status, project progress, and issue resolution. You will also automate test plans to enable faster quality regressions.
This role requires advanced skills in networking fundamentals, software testing, and test automation. A Bachelor - Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar is required. Advanced English level and solid understanding of networking fundamentals are essential.
Solid experience in troubleshooting & fixing networking service issues is necessary along with knowledge of network protocols and algorithms (L2, IPv4, IPv6, OSPF, BGP, EVPN, MPLS, VRF, etc). Experience supporting computing platforms/solutions including SAN/NAS arrays, virtualization, load balancing, and high availability is also required.
Hands-on experience with VMWare vSphere and Linux Operating Systems is necessary as well as experience with network services and tools such as DHCP, Active Directory, Certification Authorities, iptables, RADIUS, vulnerability scanners, packet generators, and analyzers.
