Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct risk assessments on emerging and established lines of business, stores, and products to surface payment risks and reputational exposure points.
- Support post-launch reviews to capture new risk scenarios; conduct deep dives on repeated errors to eliminate defects.
- Contribute to joint business reviews with the management team regarding emerging risks, status of risk assessments, and control performance.
- Self-manage work backwards timelines and key milestones required to complete risk assessments; balancing trade-offs as appropriate.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years experience in Risk Management or other internal controls function.
- Able to operate in a highly ambiguous environment with minimal guidance from Manager.
- Strong critical thinker with demonstrated ability to balance tactical and strategic work.
- Able to pivot quickly with change of prioritization and direction from Manager/Leaders.
- Experience working with geographically distributed teams.
- Knowledge of Payment Industry.
- Experience working with diverse risk management framework.
- Experience collaborating with risk intelligence teams.
