About You
The ideal candidate will have a passion for language, grammar, and style, with excellent communication and proofreading skills. You will be able to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Review and refine electronic products to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Use house style, established procedures, and grammatical intuition to guide your work.
- Prioritize tasks and modify plans to address changing needs.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
Qualifications and Requirements
- English-proficient
- College degree or equivalent experience required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
- Ability to work independently with proper direction and minimal supervision.
- Ability to coordinate projects and engage meaningfully across departments.
- Analytical and decision-making skills required.
- Excellent communication, fact-checking, and trouble-shooting skills.
- Successful completion of comprehensive training for each segment of the role.
- Two years or more of editing and proofreading experience needed.
