Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Coordinator for AP Services to join our team. As a key member of our Finance organization, you will be responsible for partnering with vendors to resolve account statement discrepancies, working closely with finance operations teams in different locations for timely transaction processing, and supporting organizational/operational projects.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team and contribute to the success of Amazon's Finance organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Reconcile, audit, and monitor vendor accounts with high complexity
  2. Invoice analysis and posting
  3. Metrics, KPI reporting
  4. Partnering with vendors to resolve account statement discrepancies
  5. Work closely with finance operations teams in different locations for timely transaction processing
  6. Deliver guide to vendors to clarify accounts payable processes
  7. Engage with retail, inbound operations or accounting for vendor inquiries resolution

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of finance experience
  • Knowledge of standard software including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL and VBA skills
  • Experience using data to influence business decisions
  • Master's degree in accounting, information systems, finance, or equivalent
  • 2+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
  • Experience in TM1, Data Warehouse and SQL
