About the Role
As a Financial Data Associate at Moody's, you will work closely with Credit Analysts to ensure timely publication of credit rating actions while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and internal control processes.
You will be responsible for executing data-related activities to support business operations, including database management, information validation, and credit rating action publications.
Main Responsibilities
- Maintain a robust database of entities, instruments, and objects.
- Validate accuracy and consistency of information in press releases, credit opinions, and other published documentation.
- Review documentation to ensure organizations, debts, sales, deals, and credit rating actions are accurately reflected in systems/databases.
- Assess credit rating action publications for compliance with local regulatory requirements and accuracy in credit rating information.
- Publish credit rating action press releases to Moody's website.
- Monitor progress of various activities to ensure timeliness of information publication.
- Develop deep knowledge of rating assignment process.
- Stay up-to-date with financial instruments, policy, credit rating methodology updates, and related business practices.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree (e.g., Bachelor's degree).
- Experience with debt capital markets (e.g., coursework and/or relevant work experience) with prior experience of financial/legal document review is a plus.
