Job Description
The IT Process Automation Developer will collaborate with the Process Automation team to develop automation requirements and create automations using Automation Anywhere and other technologies.
This role involves working with various business owners to document current environments and identifying areas for process improvement. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing automations in Automation Anywhere, Microsoft Power Platform, and other relevant software.
- Understanding general IT architectural principles, technical designs, and specifications.
- Translating business requirements into specific software requirements.
- Contributing to a team of analysts, developers, and support staff assisting with business process automation activities.
- Representing IT in Process Automation-related projects and leadership meetings.
- Buidling highly collaborative working relationships with the business and IT.
- Reviewing business processes from end-to-end to remove waste, identify risks, and recommend modifications.
- Serving as a liaison between IT, vendors, and the business unit to gather business requirements needed for systems and tools, system modifications, and implementations.
- Providing project-level analysis and documentation (business requirements, use cases, sequence diagrams, process improvement, solution design proposals, UAT plans, and workflow diagrams).
- Creating and maintaining issue logs, meeting minutes, meeting schedules, project schedules, and updates.
- Collaborating closely with Application owners, fellow developers, and infrastructure teams to implement process automation solutions.
- Developing and executing test plans, providing necessary guidance to testers during QA process.
- Demonstrating expertise in Business Information Systems (ERPs, CRM, etc.) and guiding others in best practices.
- Building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders and vendors.
- Assisting the IT project manager with coordination and communication related to automations.
