About the Role
">We are looking for an experienced Financial Statement Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to the ratings and research process by analyzing financial documents and data provided by Issuers.
As a Financial Data Analyst, your primary responsibilities will include:
- ">">- Analyzing financial statements and reviewing official statements and other documents related to issuers' performance.">- Adjusting reported data per relevant methodology requirements.">- Reviewing and analyzing ratios to provide valuable insights to our ratings and support analysts.
Responsibilities
">As a Financial Data Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- ">">- Reviewing and understanding financial statements and providing explanations to ratings and support analysts.">- Building documentation and providing mentorship to support analysts and outsourcers.">- Reviewing, adjusting, and publishing data to external market participants.">- Collaborating with ratings analysts regarding financial and operational data needed for analysis and publications.">- Working on new projects such as technology projects, accounting changes, analytic reviews, methodology updates, and implementation of operational improvements.
Requirements
">To be successful in this role, you must have:
- ">">- A B.A. or B.S. degree in Business management, Public Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.">- Knowledge in analyzing financial documents and accounting.">- Prior experience 1-3 years in analyzing financial documents and accounting is a plus.">- Fully proficient in English, with the capacity to express ideas and attend calls and meetings.">- Strong interpersonal communication (verbal & written) skills.">- Ability to quickly transition as priorities change to meet demands.
