HR Business Partner for Costa Rica and Central America

We are seeking a highly skilled HR Business Partner to join our team in Heredia, Costa Rica. As an HR Business Partner for Costa Rica and Central America, you will play a key role in driving business success by developing and implementing integrated HR solutions that align with our company's strategic objectives.
About the RoleThis is a dynamic opportunity for an experienced HR professional to partner with senior leaders, design and deliver HR solutions, and build organizational capability to drive sustainable business results. You will report to the General Manager and Regional HR Director, LATAM.
Key Responsibilities- Talent Management: Identify capabilities needed to deliver business strategies, drive annual Performance and Potential evaluation processes, and execute post-calibration action plans. Ensure the right talent is at the right place, fully engaged, and delivering expected performance.
- Talent Acquisition: Attract and select top talent using internal, external search firms, LinkedIn, and other cost-effective methods. Develop professionals through Build the Future, Stem it, Sell it, and Sum it Programs. Comply with Service Level Agreements for time-to-fill perspectives and drive onboarding processes.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs and set priorities to ensure workforce performance meets current and future organizational requirements. Leverage existing opportunities and best practices with Regional/Group People Development teams.
- Business Partner and Coach: Partner with country leadership to understand business strategy and define human resources priorities. Act as a trusted adviser and thought partner on operational and strategic business issues, delivering feedback and coaching executive teams as required.
- Workforce Planning, Recruiting, and Onboarding: Drive workforce planning efforts aligned with short- and long-term business needs. Execute recruiting plans, select candidates from internal and external talent pools, and ensure employee onboarding.
- Compensation, Rewards, and Benefits Administration: Benchmark total compensation and reward practices to ensure market-driven pay and internal equity. Work with Global Compensation teams to leverage opportunities and best practices. Drive Annual merit review and Sales Management by Objectives (MBO) processes.
- Organizational Development and Culture: Develop and implement solutions with country leadership on organizational issues, including organizational design, cultural assessment, and change management. Foster a compliance-driven culture.
- HR Processes, Planning, and Implementation: Develop and execute the country HR operating plan, implementing fit-to-purpose processes and systems. Measure value, efficiency, and effectiveness of processes and benchmark best practices internally and externally.
- Employee Communications and Engagement: Develop an integrated employee communications plan, leveraging global communication tools locally. Assess organizational climate through employee input and implement changes to drive engagement.
- ESG – Environment, Social, and Governance: Deliver country ESG goals, focusing on gender balance in recruiting processes.
What We're Looking For
We seek a professional with 4-10 years' experience as an HR Manager, preferably in an industrial environment. Key skills include:
- Completed higher education in HR, business, or organization studies;
- Leadership and communication skills to create and drive teamwork;
- Creative mindset, proactive approach, resilience, and responsibility;
- Experience working in a multinational company;
- Fluency in oral and written English.
We offer a competitive salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
