The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of operational processes and the ability to communicate effectively across multiple technical and non-technical business units. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, analyze root causes, and implement solutions to improve operational efficiency.
Serving as a trusted advisor and support for Sales Operations and Sales teams, the Global Operations Specialist will be responsible for:
- Serving as a subject matter expert on account management concerns and executing simple account segmentation requests.
- Analyzing root causes for tool and system access concerns and establishing next steps to be communicated appropriately to internal stakeholders.
- Executing manual workflows to support larger Sales Operations mechanisms with accuracy and timeliness.
- Providing input on sales operations processes based on sales feedback, ticket volume, and ticket type.
- Working with other cross-functional teams to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Performing regular governance checks and data validation to achieve data consistency.
- Occasionally retrieving and evaluating data using Excel and other data management/BI systems.
- Providing ad-hoc support and reports.
The successful candidate will possess strong quantitative, analytical, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills. They will be highly organized, with excellent multi-tasking skills and the ability to work efficiently in ambiguous situations. Furthermore, they must meet/exceed Amazon's leadership principles requirements for this role and demonstrate functional experience with Amazon's depth and complexity.
