Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Housekeeping Specialist to join our team at Fairfield by Marriott San Jose Airport Alajuela. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the hotel, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and ensuring that all areas of the hotel meet high standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the hotel, including rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.
  2. Deliver exceptional guest experiences by responding promptly to guest requests, providing personalized service, and ensuring that all guest interactions are positive and memorable.
  3. Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure that all areas of the hotel meet high standards of quality and cleanliness.
  4. Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of hotel policies, procedures, and services to effectively communicate with guests and colleagues.
  5. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time, with frequent bending, stooping, and lifting.
