The Role

We are seeking an experienced Microbiologist Laboratory Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our microbiology laboratory, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine environmental monitoring, non-viable monitoring, product and water bioburden testing, compressed dry air monitoring, and bacterial endotoxin testing.
  • Identify microorganisms, execute trending, alert level calculations, and microbial population analysis.
  • Maintain the physical records updated and perform custody of controlled records.
  • Execute sterilization of materials and reagents as well as depyrogenation cycles for BET.
  • Support validation activities for the Micro Lab.
  • Maintain the inventory of materials updated and request for quotes and Purchase Orders.
  • Execute Out of Specification Reports and schedule the monthly activities required for the Lab.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Microbiology, Biology, Biotechnology Engineer, Chemical Analyst, etc or three years or experience in the field.
  • Knowledge in Asceptic technique.
  • English knowledge written and spoken, microbiological samples handling.
  • Office knowledge (word, excel, PowerPoint).
  • Minitab knowledge.
