Responsibilities:
- Monitor and evaluate performance, supporting readiness and driver improvement in support quality for internal teams and partners.
- Collaborate with readiness and training teams to optimize curriculum, reducing delivery time requirements and enhancing material.
- Perform technical mentoring of others to share technical expertise.
- Contribute to team success by providing mentoring, coaching, and role readiness training.
- Manage case activities and drive top priorities by working with managers, engineers, Serviceability team, and stakeholders.
- Engage and collaborate with other Microsoft groups to resolve critical, complex issues.
- Teach Support Engineers to collaborate with internal teams and build communities to resolve customer and partner issues.
- Manage swarming process to ensure timely issue resolution.
- Drive implementation of improvement initiatives from Delivery Excellence team.
- Ensure engineers follow supportability processes and refine processes to enable engineers to identify and report supportability ideas/issues to product group.
- Drive improvements on top pain areas by contributing and producing troubleshooting guides/readiness content.
- Identify patterns of specific bugs in products and ensure they are handled with relevant product group team.
- Help drive and land top priorities by working with managers, engineers, Serviceability team, and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Fluent English language reading, writing, and speaking skills.
- Thorough knowledge of Cosmos DB technology.
- Experience with NoSQL DB technologies, including MongoDB, DynamoDB, Gremlin, Apache Cassandra, or relational database technologies like SQL Server, Oracle, or MS SQL.
- Coding experience with C#, C++, Java, JavaScript, Python, Scala, or Node.js.
- Experience with cloud computing technologies, including public clouds like Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Ali Cloud, or private clouds like OpenStack.
- Database Administrator and Network management experience is a plus.
- Open source solution experience like Hadoop and Spark is a plus.
- Experience with one or more customer support, product support, technical support, IT Admin support, consulting, systems development, product development, network operations, software engineering, or I.T. consulting, customer or technical support or consulting or end-user support.
- B.S. degree in C.S., E.E., or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years in system development.
