About the Role
In this Regional Communications Director position, you will play a critical role in positioning Gensler's regional leadership and design talent with major news outlets. Your expertise will help us develop and execute PR strategies that showcase our firm's expertise in the built environment and real estate market.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Regional Leadership to develop and implement PR strategies and campaigns.
- Cultivate relationships with journalists and reporters across major news outlets and industry trades.
- Manage engagement with outside agency partners.
- Grow a team who will drive media relations strategy under your leadership.
- Develop and execute holistic media relations programs with shared KPIs.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in PR, with experience in real estate, design, or building industries preferred.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish).
- Experience developing business in Mexico, Central, and South America markets.
- Strong relationships with national, global architecture, and design trade media.
