We are seeking a skilled Business Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our service delivery function, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our payroll processes.
You will work closely with our payroll team to design, implement, and maintain standardized processes that meet our business needs. This includes maintaining up-to-date knowledge of North America payroll processes and regulations, as well as staying abreast of changes required.
In addition to your technical skills, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions
- Ensure compliance with internal and external controls requirements
- Design and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Collaborate with the payroll team to resolve issues and improve service delivery
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in share services/customer service/employee life cycle processes or related
- From those minimum of 2 year payroll experience
- Experience with outsourced payroll delivery including vendor management (desired)
- Experience with US & Canada payroll (must have)
- Union payroll experience (must have)
- Experience in managing corporate audits (desired)
