Audiovisual System Developer

Job Overview
The Audiovisual Architect / Designer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and installing audiovisual systems. This includes all design aspects of the project, including layout and various audio/visual specifications.
This role requires researching and implementing new software, as well as technological developments to improve various aspects of the project. The incumbent will also be responsible for measuring strategic KPIs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage audiovisual projects from planning stages to completion.
- Install, configure, and deliver audiovisual projects as contracted.
- Provide recommendations to management regarding solutions to potential project risks and issues.
- Test and troubleshoot audiovisual systems to ensure they work before job completion.
- Establish project schedules and deadlines to ensure they are realistic and attainable.
Requirements
- Requires 4-year college degree or equivalent in a Technology related field.
- Demonstrated successful track record as Audio Visual Engineer.
- 7+ years proven capability and experience in working with Audio Visual industry, unified communications, Video Collaboration, and video conference.
- Good understanding and experience of designing and selling audio visual services and solutions.
- Certifications in Avixa, Kramer, Crestron, Extron, a plus.
Desirable Skills
- Must possess excellent Audiovisual engineer acumen skill set.
- Must be able to create designs to solve customer needs.
- Knowledge in some of the following brands, a plus: Logi, Poly, Lenovo, Biamp, Shure, Cisco, etc.
- Facilitation skills required and ability to gain consensus in decision-making.
- Possess superior communication skills.
- Results Focused.
- Time-management skills highly beneficial.
