**About the Role
**At Emerson, we are committed to excellence in sourcing initiatives that enable us to procure goods and services at the best overall cost of ownership and highest quality. As the Sourcing Analyst, you will be responsible for executing sourcing initiatives that support our category management team. This includes providing sourcing support and enablement, conducting award scenario analysis, and utilizing procurement systems to execute sourcing.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Execute necessary RFx processes, including requests for information, proposals, quotes, and bids to support the category management team
- Conduct thorough award scenario analysis to inform decision-making by the category management and analytics teams
- Provide insights to the sourcing and category management teams regarding negotiations and potential improvements to future negotiations during sourcing events
**Additional Key Responsibilities**
- Assist the sourcing team in planning end-to-end sourcing events and following execution to ensure timely completion
- Conduct necessary sourcing requirements and report potential timeline and resource adjustments to the Sourcing Supervisor
**Requirements and Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Operations, or similar is required
- 2+ years of experience in procurement operations, global sourcing, supplier management, commodity risk management, strategic planning, budgeting, and financial reporting etc. is required
- Preference will be given to candidates with an advanced course/ Master's Degree and/or professional certifications in Procurement, Technology, Strategy, and/or Project management
