Bid Writer Job Description
At CloudPay, we are seeking a skilled Bid Writer to join our team. As a Bid Writer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality bids that meet our clients' needs and exceed their expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct project reviews to ensure that updated and new information is fed back into the Loopio library after project completion, within established KPI timelines
- Identify and manage internal SMEs to expedite and refine responses to complex questions involving technology, regulations, compliance, analytics, service, etc.
- Manage and maintain the team's appendices attachments, conducting regular reviews to ensure that we are using the most up-to-date information in our submissions
- Attend regular department meetings to keep up to date with new developments in our service and product offering
- Identify and assign questions that require input from SMEs, liaising with them to provide responses within allocated timescales
- Proofread responses prior to exporting completed response from Loopio to ensure that there are no errors in the information, incl. spelling, grammar, incorrect customer names, any other erroneous items, and ensuring that responses are in line with our business writing styles
- Prepare and export completed projects from Loopio ensuring that the response is correctly exported and formatted into either the customer's template or CloudPay's template, and uploaded to the HubSpot deal (Sales CRM tool)
Attributes and Experience Required:
- Minimum of two years' experience in bidding is essential
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills (essential)
- Strong command of English - CEFR EF C1 Advanced level at a minimum, CEFR EF C2 Proficient level (preferred)
- Business writing experience
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to work to tight timelines
- Ability to prioritize conflicting project deliverables
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of senior management
- Ability to work well as part of a team, as well as on an individual basis
