Job Description
The Data Science Engineer plays a key role in taking various data sets and creating dashboards that tell an impactful story for business leaders. This person must be able to create advanced data models, work with business on requirements, complete technical documentation, and testing, create stories using BI dashboards, data-mine big data, and iterate with leaders across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
- Building required infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of complex data sets from various sources.
- Creating analytical tools to utilize the data pipeline, providing actionable insight into key business performance metrics.
- Ensuring deliverables have executive presence and efficient processes.
- Working with stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 2+ years of experience working with Microsoft Power BI and advanced data analysis tools.
- Advanced Excel skills, including knowledge of Power Query and DAX language.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong mathematics skills, including statistics and algebra.
