The Data Analyst is a data-driven individual with excellent analytical skills; someone who is an independent self-starter with experience using data analytic tools such as SQL, PowerBI and Excel with a passion for delivering data-driven insights to join the IT project management office.
In this role you will define, implement and standardize metrics, reports and dashboards.
Will pursue data quality, troubleshoot data validation and strive to improve data accuracy.
The analyst will partner with project managers, product teams and business leaders to provide recommendations using multiple types of data, business knowledge, and strategic assumptions when data doesn't exist to provide key insights and influence strategic decisions.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide recommendations utilizing multiple types of data, business knowledge, and strategic assumptions when data doesn't exist.
- Identify opportunities and influence strategic partners to define key metrics and KPI's that can influence strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers and other IT team to ensure reporting solutions are scalable, repeatable, effective, and meet expectations of senior leadership teams.
- Define, implement and standardize metrics, reports and dashboards.
- Pursue data quality, troubleshoot data validation, and see issues to resolution.
- Develop monitoring processes to ensure data accuracy to identify trends / issues and opportunities.
**Requirements**:
- English: B2+ (Fluent).
- Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Statistics or related field.
- Proficiency in data modeling and transformation tools such PowerBi, Excel or Tableau.
- 2 - 3 years of experience in an analytical / quantitative role.
- Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Exposure to Azure a plus.
**Desired**:
Background defining and creating metrics and KPI's calculations.
Exposure to key project / portfolio management concepts.
