Job Summary:
The Electronics Engineering Specialist will be responsible for modifying printed circuit boards (PCBs) to meet specific engineering requirements. This involves interpreting schematics and relating them to board files to identify key signals and evaluate functionality.
Additionally, the successful candidate will be tasked with patching hardware platforms with the latest software updates, including BIOS, firmware, operating systems, and more. They will also execute test plans from verbal and written instructions to verify PC/server fundamental functionality.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, information technology, electrical/electronics engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience as a data center engineer or similar role as an engineering technician able to disassemble and reassemble personal computers/servers
- Advanced English skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience as a hardware engineer able to arm and disarm PC/servers
