Job Summary

In this role, you will be working as a Cloud Security Architect at IBM Consulting, one of our premier delivery centers. We deliver cutting-edge technical and industry expertise to a wide range of clients globally, and this position is a key part of that effort.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and configure the Illumio security solution to protect our clients' networks and systems.
  • Collaborate with security, network teams, and external vendors to enforce consistent security policies across organizations and participate in security infrastructure implementation and improvement projects.
  • Provide customer-facing support, utilizing excellent verbal and written communication skills to address technical issues and provide support.
  • Utilize expertise in Cloud technologies, including Azure and AWS, to ensure secure and efficient network operations.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Experience implementing and administering the Illumio security solution.
  • Strong knowledge of information security, networking, and system architecture.
  • Experience with relevant security protocols and technologies such as VPN, SSL/TLS, IPsec, Firewalls, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with a strong ability to engage with customers effectively.
  • Customer-centric approach with experience in customer-facing roles, delivering exceptional service and support within Illumio environments.
  • Networking troubleshooting skills with a solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Recognized Illumio certifications such as Illumio Associate, Specialist, and Expert are preferred.
  • Security and network certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CySA, CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge and experience in Cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, and IBM Cloud.
