Job Overview

The Cost Accountant will be responsible for transitioning RTR and costing activities from 3M's subsidiaries. This includes the end-to-end RTR process, product costing (PCIV) activities, and ensuring accurate recording of cost information.

Main Responsibilities

  • Transition RTR and costing activities from 3M's subsidiaries
  • End-to-end RTR process: journal entries, month-end close, account reconciliations
  • Product costing (PCIV): gross margin analysis, identifying process improvements, recording cost information
  • Identifying process improvements and analyzing audits of costs
  • Making estimates of new and proposed product costs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or currently studying accounting
  • Self-starter with an excellent track record of delivering results
  • Process improvement mindset and strong Excel skills
  • Minimum 2 years of Cost Accounting or General accounting experience
  • ERP system experience, SAP and AS400 skills
